The year ended with two six-figure domain name sales making a grand total of 84 according to Domain Name Journalâs list of top reported sales for the week to 2 January.
Top selling domain name for the week was onlinekredit.net, which sold for â¬100,000 ($131,000), unsurprisingly through Sedo which began the year as it ended. In the first week of sales, Domain Name Journal reported that credit.fr was the top selling domain, selling for a whopping â¬587,500 ($851,875).
Second biggest seller for the week was poker.com.au, which sold for $100,000 through Moniker/SnapNames followed by podnova.com for $90,000 through Sedo.
Overall .COM domains dominated the weekâs sales, accounting for 17 of the top 20 with forex.pro rounding out the top 20 while Sedo sold 12 of the top 20.
