Shane Richmond meets one of the internet’s founding fathers, Vint Cerf, who talks about the importance of curiosity and how the internet is going into space.Vint Cerf is sitting in a meeting room in Google’s London office, telling a group of schoolchildren about his career in technology and talking about the future of the internet. As one of the men who invented the internet – or at least, one of the key technologies that makes it work – Cerf is better qualified for this job than most.In the 1970s, Cerf and his colleague Bob Kahn began working on ways to transfer packets of data between computers and networks.
