Video online grows beyond Australian industry hopes

If there was any doubt that Australians were developing an insatiable appetite for TV-style video online, the sceptics can return to their dens.New figures compiled for the Herald by Nielsen Online show the number of online users who stream video content at least once a week has risen 129 per cent in the past year to 4.2 million users a month. And more than 60 per cent of them say they’re doing it while they watch TV.
