US internet advertising revenue hits record high in 2010

U.S. Internet advertising revenue jumped 15 percent to $26 billion in 2010, setting a record high and proving that more companies are opening up their coffers to reach people online.The new figures released on Wednesday by the Interactive Advertising Bureau and PwC also reported record online ad revenue increases in the fourth quarter of 2010, up 16 percent to $7.5 billion. see:US online ad revenue hits record $26 billion [AFP]
US online advertising revenue rose 15 percent last year to a record $26 billion, the Interactive Advertising Bureau and PricewaterhouseCoopers said Wednesday.US online advertising revenue increased 19 percent in the fourth quarter from a year earlier to $7.45 billion, also a record, the IAB and PwC said.
