To promote the creation of businesses and digital inclusion in Togo, the ministry in charge of the digital economy is launching a campaign to promote the Togolese ccTLD .TG domain during September.
The promotion will see .tg domain names being given away free of charge to businesses and will include a website and email address. The online translation used of the French announcement doesnât make it clear if all businesses are entitled to a free domain name, nor if the website and email setup are also free.
The initiative is also supported by the Ministry of Trade and Promotion of the private sector, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and a number of government agencies.
The objective is to increase the visibility of companies in the national territory and to promote the development of their activities at the local, national and international levels.
