The world of the internet-connected toothbrush is well and truly in full swing, after Oral B became the second company to launch a bluetooth-connected toothbrush at the Mobile World Congress earlier this month. The premise is simple: the toothbrush connects to your smartphone and help you to understand the areas you typically tend to miss when brushing. This could provide information for consumers such as understanding the best time to change the head of the toothbrush. It also allows doting parents to check that their children have been sufficiently brushing their teeth. And at nearly £200, it’s coming at a high price point.
