Short .COM Domains Dominate Weekly Chart, But MOMMY.COM Takes The Prize

The second and third biggest sales for the week were xlc.com and fhl.com, selling for $49,100 and $35,000 through NameJet and GritBrokerage respectively.

On the TLD side of things there were 16 .com sales, 2 for .cc and one each for .nl and .org. There were 14 sales through NameJet and 4 through Sedo.

The sale has since been topped by eth.com, which is the equal second biggest sale for 2017 to date. Coming in second, in a sale that in many weeks would top the chart itself, was agenda.com, which sold for $225,000 through Buckley Media Group/Flippa while wealth365.com and 365.tv each sold for $60,000 in sales brokered by DomainProducts/Sedo and NameJet respectively.

There were 11 sales through NameJet and another 3 through Sedo while there were 2 each on the chart for Nidoma and Grit Brokerage. On the top level domain side of things there were 15 .com sales, 2 each for .it and .co and one for .tv.

For the week ending 30 July NameJet released all their July sales and not only took the top 3 places but also 14 of the top 20. Their sales of spitfire.com and 3171.com for $42,800 and $42,022 respectively took out second and third places. Other aftermarket outlets to get a look in on the chart were Sedo with 3 sales and DomainMarket 2 and a solitary sale for MagnumDomains.

On the TLD side of things, as well as taking out the top 15 sales, .com took out 18 of the top 20 sales with one each for .net and .group.

Lola.com Tops “Weekly” Sales Chart in $550,000 Sale

The domain name became available following the bankruptcy of fashion company BCBG Max Azria who “was given court authority to sell Lola.com (with no other assets involved) and it now points to a company offering a new business travel app.”

Coming in second and third were cpt.com and 1003.com which sold for $69,000 and $45,000 in sales brokered by NameJet and Sharjil Saleem/Sanwal Memon respectively.

There were 16 .com sales on the chart and one each for .org, .de, .co.uk and .ca. On the aftermarket side of things NameJet had a hand in 10 sales, 2 in conjunction with Erwan Kina, while Sedo had 5 sales.

Fly.com Flies High To Be Year’s Biggest Sale to Date

The domain name was sold to an unreported buyer and is currently operating as a pretty basic website for flights and travel bookings. TravelZoo bought the domain in 2009 for $1.76 million. The actual date of the sale was undisclosed.

Everything else for the week ending 30 April seems rather trivial on the sales chart. Sedo brokered the second and third biggest sales, that of piech.com and seacapital.com which sold for very handy amounts themselves – $79,000 and $49,000 respectively.

There 17 .com sales on the top 20 chart and one each for .net, .tv and .co.kr. On the aftermarket side of things, RightOfTheDot and NameJet released a large number of completed sales and took out 8 of the top 20 sales while Sedo had 7.

With a tie for 20th place, there were 21 domains on the week’s sales chart and NameJet had a hand in 11 of them, 3 of which they shared with RightOfTheDot. BQDN and Sedo had a hand in 4 each.

On the TLD side of things there were 19 .com sales, with .com domain names taking out the top 18 places while there was one .de and one .info domain name on the chart.
