The Korean government is to set up a new body to oversee the management of the .KR country code Top Level Domain, says a report in The Korea Herald.
The body will consist of 20 members with representatives from academia, government-run organisations and industry, including the three internet service providers, with an announcement on the new body due tomorrow (Tuesday).
It is intended the new forum will âaddress the shortcomings of the existing system for managing internet addresses and other related resources.â
