Domain Names to Be Auctioned for Generation Rescue The auction will include the sale of two donated domain names—iCart.com, donated by Internet REIT, Inc, (iREIT), and savants.org, donated by Shahram Shokrian (DNBA.org) —with the proceeds going to Generation Rescue, actress Jenny McCarthy’s foundation for the treatment and prevention of autism and chronic illness.

Pre-bidding For DOMAINFest Preliminary Live Auction Premium and Low and No Reserve Auctions Open

The DOMAINFest Global Preliminary Live Auction Catalogues for Premium and Low and No Reserve auctions are available for pre-bidding. Pre-bidding began on Jan. 10.

Pre-bids can be submitted on any domain listed in the low and no reserve auction until 13:00 on 1 February (Eastern US time). Pre-bids for the premium auction may be made until 12:00 on 3 February (Eastern US time). The highest bid for each domain will then become the starting bid in the live auction. All live auction pre-bidders will be notified via email of their positions in the auction along with instructions for joining the live and extended auction.

This year’s live domain auctions at DOMAINfest will include the Moniker Low and No Reserve Domain Auction on Tuesday, 1 February from 17:00 to 18:00 US Pacific time, and the Moniker Premium Domain Auction on Thursday, 3 February, 2011 from 16:30 to 18:00. US Pacific time. Both auctions offer simultaneous live in-person as well as online remote real-time bidding.

The Moniker Extended Premium Domain Auction, involving online bidding only, will be held for two weeks from Thursday, 3 February at the conclusion of the live auction and will continue until Thursday, 17 February 17 at 12:15 US Pacific time.
