NameJet and Domain Holdings are working together to exclusively co-promote the rare and extremely valuable 2-digit domain name, 27.com.

NameJet logo[news release] NameJet, the industry leading domain name auction platform, and Domain Holdings, the world-class team of experienced domain experts, have joined forces to market and auction an extremely rare and valuable 2-character numeric domain name, 27.com.

The last publically reported sale of a 2-digit .com occurred over two years ago, when 37.com sold in March of 2014 for $1,960,800. Since then the short numeric .com market has appreciated considerably, making this an incredible opportunity to acquire one of only one hundred existing 2-character numeric .com domains. Only nine 2-digit .com sales have been reported in the last six years.

“We are thrilled to be offering this rare 2-digit .com on NameJet and are looking forward to what we hope will be a record-breaking sale,” said Jonathan Tenenbaum , General Manager of NameJet. “The co-promotion with Domain Holdings will ensure that we bring the most qualified buyers to our platform and we are very excited to be working with them to sell what is arguably the most valuable domain asset currently available in the aftermarket.”

“Domain Holdings is excited to co-broker this super premium numeric domain name 27.com with NameJet” says Mike McConville, Senior Broker with Domain Holdings. “When our client indicated they wanted to auction with NameJet, we hopped on a call with Jonathan (Tenenbaum) and began to collaborate on different marketing strategies to ensure 27.com will receive maximum exposure. With the opportunity to work with NameJet, we can continue to provide additional value for our clients.”

27.com is available for backorder now and backorders may be placed through May 7, 2016 followed by a public auction that closes on Wednesday, May 11, 2016. Interested bidders will need to have a verified NameJet bidder account in order to participate in the auction so it is recommended they obtain verified status as soon as possible.
