The latest Domain Name Journal domain sales report from Ron Jackson shows summer holidays have not slowed sales around the world. This week’s biggest sale was phones.co.uk, a private sale, for £175,000, the fourth biggest ccTLD sale of the year to date.
Other six-figure ($US) sales were EdistoBeach.com for $115,000, Sevilla.com for $102,000Â and jake.com for $100,000.
The highest non-.com gTLD sale was for Manucure.info (â¬29,500) while LegalJobs.co.uk sold for £20,000 making two co.uk sales in the top 20.
The charts also reveal the first com.au sale since rules for transferring .au names were liberalised with FreeStuff.com.au selling for $US$18,000 making it the 43rd biggest reported sale in the year to date.
