Summer Domain Sales Continue

The latest Domain Name Journal domain sales report from Ron Jackson shows summer holidays have not slowed sales around the world. This week’s biggest sale was phones.co.uk, a private sale, for £175,000, the fourth biggest ccTLD sale of the year to date.

Other six-figure ($US) sales were EdistoBeach.com for $115,000, Sevilla.com for $102,000  and jake.com for $100,000.

The highest non-.com gTLD sale was for Manucure.info (€29,500) while LegalJobs.co.uk sold for £20,000 making two co.uk sales in the top 20.

The charts also reveal the first com.au sale since rules for transferring .au names were liberalised with FreeStuff.com.au selling for $US$18,000 making it the 43rd biggest reported sale in the year to date.
