Gone are the days when Australians only tuned in to TV or radio to keep up with a national crisis.Twitter, Facebook, a specially created digital radio station and interactive maps were just some of the digital channels tens of thousands of Australians have used to stay informed, help out or voice their opinion as the Queensland floods unfold.
