Snake.com sold for $135,000 through BQDN to be the biggest seller on the Domain Name Journal chart for the week ending 7 April. It was about double that of the second biggest reported sale of the week, that of fusionbank.com, which sold for £50,000 ($65,500) through Sedo while smart.co came in third, selling for $52,820 through Aishwin.com/Uniregistry.
On the aftermarket side of things it was a mixed bag but Sedo came out on top by numbers of sales with 9 while NameJet had 4. For the top-level domains, there were 15 .com sales with one each for .co, .ca, .co.uk, .win and .org.
