Last week we noted that after 12 sales charts in a row of 6, and sometimes 7, figure domain name sales, there were none! But in the latest sales chart one returns. In the week ending 9 July, dcc.com was the top reported sale selling for $198,000 in a private sale.
Strahovka.com, or “insurance” in Russian, came in second selling for $62,000 through YesNames/Efty followed by hours.com which sold for $31,000 through Flippa.
Flippa then dominated the chart, taking out 12 of the top 21 (a tie for 20th) while Sedo took out 4 and DomainMarket 2. And on the TLD side of things .com took out 19 of the top 21 sales with one each for .net and .org.
