Sedo’s wish to increase focus on the .uk market and to provide local dedicated client services for customers across UK and Ireland, has resulted in the decision to launch a new office in the UK. The office will be first located in Reading, Berks, where Sedo will build and train the UK team and will then relocate to London mid-2008 to share office space with our sister company, AdLink.

A team of dedicated account managers will focus on supporting the needs of our customers across the UK and Ireland. Nora Nanayakkara, will move from a position in operations management in Sedo’s German office, to oversee the UK launch and take up a UK sales and business development role.

In the UK, the focus will be on providing the team with the latest industry skills and knowledge to ensure we maximise revenue generation for our domain parking clients. It will enable us to provide top-quality services and more timely and effective client support – especially to our SedoPRO clients.

The new UK office follows the successful US launch of Sedo’s Boston office in 2005 and is part of Sedo’s international growth strategy in the domain services industry as it increases its focus on the dynamic and growing UK domain space.  A key part of that strategy is the development of a local expert domain parking team and the provision of local and dedicated services for our large UK client base.
