RunningShoes.com topped the Domain Name Journal weekly sales charts for the week to 24 April, selling for $700,000 in a private sale followed by deals.com.au, the second biggest sale of the week and one of the biggest com.au sales ever, selling for $100,000 and also a private sale.
Deals.com.au was bought by an online coupon deals company called Zoupon that found internet users had difficulty in spelling the name.
Overall there were eleven .COM sales in the week and also eleven domains sold through Sedo.
