The top reported domain name sale in the week to 11 December was qx.com, selling for $124,975 through Moniker/SnapNames, reports Domain Name Journal.
Second and third places went to Makassar.com and heartoflove.com, selling for $40,000 and â¬30,000 ($39,000) respectively, and both through Sedo.
Overall there were 17 .COM sales on the weekly chart, this week consisting of 24 domains with seven-way tie for 18th place. There were six ccTLD sales and one .NET sale.
Sedo was responsible for 14 of the sales while AfternicDLS was responsible for six.
