Quartet Of Six-Figure Sales Tops Weekly Chart

Domain Name Journal logoA quartet of six-figure domain name sales topped the Domain Name Journal chart of top reported sales in the week ending 20 July, with py.com coming tops selling for $358,000 through Heritage Auctions.

In the second of the six-figure sales, dots.com sold for $325,000 through Hilco Streambank while hy.com was third selling for $320,000 also through Heritage Auctions and statement.com was fourth selling for $140,000 in a private sale. Not quite making the six-figure mark was gca.com, selling for $90,000 through Sedo.

There were a total of 12 sales through Sedo in the top 20 chart with the remainder scattered through a range of outlets including two through Heritage Auctions and Flippa had a hand in another two.

On the TLD side of things, there were 15 .com sales including the top nine as well as two .de and one each for .tv, .info and .org.
