Over 64,000 previously unregistered .PR domain names were released on Monday, Puerto Rico Top Level Domain has announced. The domains released are a mix of words and terms in Spanish and English as well as numerical strings.
While .pr is the country code top-level domain (ccTLD) for Puerto Rico, it is also promoted as a top-level domain for public relations agencies worldwide, freelancers and other communications professionals.
“We are extremely excited to make these names available,” said Pablo Rodriguez, Executive Vice President of nic.PR. “This is a one of a kind opportunity for PR pros to get some amazing names that we believe will be more memorable and evocative than any other names on the internet today.”
The domains are available through any .pr registrar or reseller.
Nic.PR has reserved these 64,000 names for years and has now decided to release them for sale.
