It was a very good week for the owners of platinum.com, which sold for a very nice $250,000 to top the Domain Name Journal list of top reported sales in the week to 26 September.
The sale, through Moniker/SnapNames, easily topped Hobart.com.au in second place, which was a very good sale for the growing .AU aftermarket, selling for A$65,000 (US$67,600) in a private sale. And third was kipi.com which sold for $47,000 through DomainAdvisors/DomainNameSales.
Overall half the sales for the week were sold through Sedo, while four were through DomainNameSales, including one in conjunction with Domain Advisors. There were also three through Moniker/SnapNames and two through AfternicDLS.
On the TLD front, there were 14. COM sales, two co.uk and one each for com.au, .PL. .DE and .INFO.
