The chief executive of News Digital Media, Richard Freudenstein, has argued that the group’s tabloid mastheads such The Daily Telegraph and Herald Sun will be able to adapt to putting some online content behind a paywall.Mr Freudenstein yesterday announced News Digital’s much-anticipated paid content strategy, which will start in October when The Australian begins charging online readers for premium content in a similar model to The Wall Street Journal.
