INRegistry is offering free .in Internationalised Domain Names in any of the 22 official Indian languages whenever a .in domain name is registered. Registrants will also get a free email address in the local language.
The move announced by India’s country code top-level domain (ccTLD) registry is an effort to stimulate the adoption of bhaart (भारत) domain names and develop local language content. This offer is valid for new .in registrants until 31 January 2021 as well as existing registrants who renew their domain in January.
Separately there is also a promotion underway for .in domain names with a 30% discount on one year renewals and transfer-ins of 2nd and 3rd level .IN/.भारत domains. The promotion commenced on 1 October 2020 and runs until 31 March 2021. The discount does not apply to new creations and multi-year renewals.
Another promotion currently underway is a 10% to 50% discount on multi-year new creates and renewals for 2nd level and 3rd level .IN/.भारत domains. This promotion runs from 1 October 2020 to 30 September 2021.
