Newspapers ‘must change their focus’

Newspapers around the world need to change focus from their product to their audience if they are to survive the digital media age, according to a report analysing the global outlook.The International Newspaper Marketing Association in its annual forecast reported that newspaper executives were accustomed to making their product central to their business strategy, but this was not sustainable any longer as the business model for newspapers was undergoing historic change.
