New laws planned by South Australian government to tackle videos posted online

There is to be a crackdown on people who video and distribute humiliating and degrading images of others without their consent.The South Australian Government has released draft legislation for public comment, proposing new offences with a maximum of up to two years’ jail in some cases.SA Attorney-General John Rau says the bill results from the filming of incidents such as assaults, which have then been posted online.
