Music industry has Aussie pirates in the crosshairs

The anti-piracy arm of the Australian music industry has threatened to start suing individuals for illegal downloading if internet providers do not exert more control over their users.The threat by Music Industry Piracy Investigations (MIPI) comes as a single mother from Minnesota in the United States, who was fined $US220,000 ($244,000) for sharing 24 songs online, has appealed to the internet community for donations.
