The sale of 588.com easily topped the Domain Name Journal chart of top reported sales in the week ending 20 September, selling for an even million bucks through 4.cn, making it the equal second biggest sale of the year to date alongside px.com and only topped by the sale of porno.com which sold for $8,888,888.

Coming in second was obe.com, which in most other weeks would have topped the weekly chart, selling for a very nice $200,000 through GetYourDomain. Third, in a sale that would often have topped a weekly chart as well, was 419.com, selling for $150,000 through eNaming.

On the TLD side of the things there were 14 .com sales, including the top ten ,two .ca sales and one each for .net, .guru, .de and .co.uk.

There were eleven sales through Sedo in the top 20 and two each through Flippa and ExcellentDomains.ca.
