Microsoft: we’ll keep ‘chipping away’ at Google

Microsoft has said that it will continue “chipping” away at Google in the market for internet search, but warned that there would be no magic bullet to increase its share overnight. The software giant said that its 5 per cent share of the UK search market was “a long way from where it needed to be”, but added that it was “in the game for the long haul” and would do “everything it could” to attract more consumers to its search product, Live Search.
