The sale of item.com topped the Domain Name Journal chart of top reported sales for the week ending 1 July, selling for $102,000 through CanavasMedia. Coming in second and third were koffer.com and qwe.com, which sold for â¬75,000 ($87,750) and $31,400 through Sedo and NameJet respectively.
While missing out on the top position, Sedo and NameJet shared the next 21 positions with 11 and 10 sales respectively and a 3-way tie for 20th place. On the TLD side of things, .com took out 16 positions along with one each for .org, .ch, .tv, .at, .us and .de.
