Is Facebook changing children’s brains?

PhD student Robert de Vries has written for Alpha Mummy about violent computer games among other topics. He’s written in about the debate in the House of Lords about the effect of Facebook on children’s brains.I’ve always thought of the machinations of the British government as opaque to the point of complete obfuscation. Meaningful discussions go on behind closed doors, glimpsed by the public through a press-release darkly. So I was quite surprised to find out that transcripts of all debates going on in both the Lords and the Commons are freely available on a single website.Trawling through this material often feels like having the colour grey injected directly into your synapses, but there are some occasional gems, mostly from the House of Lords.
