Meaningful discussions go on behind closed doors, glimpsed by the public through a press-release darkly. So I was quite surprised to find out that transcripts of all debates going on in both the Lords and the Commons are freely available on a single website.Trawling through this material often feels like having the colour grey injected directly into your synapses, but there are some occasional gems, mostly from the House of Lords.
