Abstract: There is a perception that .com domain names are international. However, what does it mean to be an international domain name? And how are conflicts concerning .com domain names tackled across the myriad of different jurisdictions? This article analyses the framework of the .com top-level domain and attempts to describe how and if decisions of different jurisdictions are enforced when the central object of litigation is a .com domain name.
