IHT and New York Times stop charging for parts of their Web sites

Two of TechNewsReview’s favourite newspapers, the International Herald Tribune and New York Times, have stopped charging for sections of their websites that previously required payment, that is, much of their archives and Times Select.

The move comes two years to the day after the International Herald Tribune and The New York Times began the subscription program, TimesSelect.
