Ever had the unfortunate experience of trying to find something on the sprawling ICANN website that’s not linked from one of the main pages? Fear no more! ICANN launched beta version of myICANN Monday that should help.
The beta version of the website allows users to sign up for email alerts for 18 topics as well as the page populated with updates on your favourite ICANN experiences.
The new website should be a step in the right direction in assisting with transparency and assist in getting people involved in the organisation. On the current ICANN.org website, even experienced users or searches can take hours to find something relevant to their visit.
ICANN is planning to introduce more services in the near future such as collaboration tools and a personalised dashboard that will detail the user’s ICANN involvement. For now though ICANN want people to check out myICANN and let them know what you think.
