There were none of the big six-figure sales in the week ending 23 August according to the Domain Name Journal chart of top reported sales. The biggest sale was that of HTML5.com which sold for a still very handy $50,209 in a sale brokered by Flippa.
The sale topped the equal second-placed sale, that of two .top domains â 28.top and 98.top â selling for CNY150,000 ($23,250) each through Jiangsu Bangning.
There were 11 .com sales for the week along with two each for .top, .de and .eu and one each for .info, .directory and .co.uk.
On the aftermarket side of things there were five sales through Flippa but they were bested by Sedo with 11.
