Prince Andrew, 4th in the line of succession to the British throne, recently toured Go Daddy, giving them the royal treatment. The visit was part of an American tour by Prince Edward designed to improve economic ties between Britain and the United States.

The Duke of York, who is fourth in line to the British throne, made the trip as the United Kingdom’s Special Representative for International Trade and Investment.

In this role, the Prince is responsible for helping British businesses grow and expand, meeting with influential trade partners and promoting his country as a location for new investment.

During the tour, His Royal Highness met privately with Go Daddy President and COO Warren Adelman, who also provided the Prince a first-hand look into the inner-workings of one of Go Daddy’s world-renowned, round-the-clock Customer Care facilities.

Following today’s tour, His Royal Highness said, “I’m always delighted to speak to companies looking to invest in the UK. Arizona has a strong track record of doing that. I’d be equally delighted to see Go Daddy join that list and bring its Internet expertise to Britain.”

“It was an honor to spend some time talking Go Daddy business with Prince Andrew,” said Adelman, who also pointed out Go Daddy’s explosive growth. “There’s no doubt, we are growing at a lightning fast pace. As the world’s largest domain registrar, it makes sense for us to look at a range of opportunities for expansion – including overseas.”
