French Workshop To Encourage Use of .FR Domains

To popularise the use of .FR domains names in France, French.Web.fr with participation from the French Registry, AFNIC, is hosting a workshop that is “devoted to the choice of a domain name.â€

To popularise the use of .FR domains names in France, French.Web.fr with participation from the French Registry, AFNIC, is hosting a workshop that is “devoted to the choice of a domain name.”

The workshop will be held on 27 March and is intended for those who are responsible for helping clients to choose a domain name – web and digital agencies, webmasters, communication agencies and intellectual property experts.

The following will be taking part in the debate:

  • Olivier Sanviti, a partner with the Aston law firm. A specialist in NICTs, he will bring a legal perspective to the discussions
  • Stéphane Pénacèque, Corporate Manager at Gandi, will address the technical issues
  • Emery Doligé, CEO, Vanksen France, a public relations company specialising in communications, digital advertising, buzz and social media. He will present the views of brands and PR recommendations
  • Bertrand Louveau, AFNIC Marketing and Innovation Director, will conclude the workshop
