Freemarket and Fiction Top Reported Weekly Sales

A slow week for domain name sales saw no sales above the $100,000 mark in the week to 11 July according to Domain Name Journal’s list of reported sales. The top sales for the week were freemarket.com and fiction.com who sold for $93,000 (sold through Sedo) and $90,000 (private sale brokered by Moniker) respectively.

Of other sales, everest.fr was the top ccTLD sale selling for €17,500 ($22,400) while websitedesign.com.au was one of the first .AU names to enter the weekly lists, selling for $19, 360.

Overall, eight of the top 20 sales were .COM names, another eight were ccTLD names and 14 of the top 20 were sold by Sedo.
