There were no reported sales topping the six-figure mark in the week to 2 October, according to Domain Name Journal. Far from it. The top sale of the week was freecharge.com, selling for a modest chart-topping figure of $55,000, sold through Moniker/SnapNames, just pipping a trio of domains sold for $50,000.
Equal second place was shared by Emergencyhousing.com and emergencyshelter.com, both sold through AfternicDLS, while the third, safe.net, was sold through DomainHoldings.
Overall, Sedo also had a modest week at the top of the charts, accounting for eight of the top 22 sales (there was a three-way tie for 20th place), while there were six sales by AfternicDLS and four by Moniker/SnapNames.
On the TLD side of things, .COM dominated the charts, taking 18 of the top 22 sales with two .NET sales and one each to .UK and .DE.
