Four Weeks In A Row For Six Figure Sales

Domain Name Journal logoFor the fourth week in a row, a six-figure sale topped the Domain Name Journal chart of top reported sales in the week ending 6 December.

The 701.com domain came out top of the chart, selling for $205,001 in a sale through NameJet followed by a second six-figure sale, rankings.com, which sold for $100,000 through Above Marketplace. Third was a tie for two .top domains – 6.top and m.top, which sold for Â¥600,000 ($93,600) in a deal brokered by the Chinese Jiangsu Bangning.

There were 16 .com sales on the chart, two for .top and one each for .club and .net. On the aftermarket side of things, NameJet had a hand in 12 sales while Jiangsu Bangning and Sedo had a hand in two each.
