On 9 September Donuts released the last of the 1.369 million domain names it was unable to release when their gTLDs went live to due to concerns over âname collisionâ, or the possible leakage of traffic from a closed private network onto the broader DNS, an issue no longer of concern.
The latest and last tranche of domains are among some of the most valuable â two character domains. Donuts began releasing domains for various gTLDs on 10 June and each week released domains for different gTLDs.
The vast majority of all the domains have been available at low, standard prices (less than two percent were premium priced) and are offered via Donuts’ Early Access Program (EAP) for the first seven days of availability of each batch.
