Domain Sales Go Quiet

Domain Name Journal logoA six-figure sale one week, the doghouse the next. In the previous week sold for $115,000, but in the week ending 24 March, the top selling domain was selling for €23,000 ($29,440) through Sedo according to the Domain Name Journal list of top reported sales.

The top two sales were brokered by Sedo, with number two for the week being, which sold for $28,000 followed by, selling for $27,000 through Afternic. In fact, the top four domains for the week were all quite close with selling for $26,000 through Domain Holdings.

Overall Sedo accounted for 14 of the top 23 sales – there was a four-way tie for 20th place, while Afternic had six domains on the leader board.

And on the TLD side of things, there were 18 .com sales, two .net sales and one each for .tv, and .org.
