Domain Sales Fail To Reach Six-Figure Sum For Second Week In A Row

Domain Name Journal logoFor the second week in a row the top selling domain name on Domain Name Journal’s chart failed to make the six-figure mark. But the top 12 domains still sold for a higher price than the top sale in the previous week.

The top sale for the week was 8.top, which sold for CNY500,000 ($79,000) through Jiangsu Bangning. Second was oka.com, which sold for $60,000 through Sedo and then cln.com for $45,000 through Flippa.

The top aftermarket outlet was Sedo as usual, which had 13 of the top 20 sales while Flippa had three.

There were 13 .com sales, two each for .de and .tv and one each for .top, .uk and .com.sg.
