Domain Pulse Is Back In Person In May

After being twice-delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Domain Pulse is back and will take place as a face-to-face event on 17 and 18 May. The conference will be hosted by DENIC at the historical plenary chamber of the German Parliament in Bonn. For two days, there will be discussions on the trends and developments in the domain name industry.

A highlight will be a keynote presentation on day one by strategy consultant and digital thinker Sascha Lobo on the post-pandemic society and “corona minimalism”. Other presentations on day one will be on Digital Policy in Germany, Geopolitical Trends in Internet Governance, Regulatory Initiatives of the European Union, Challenges of Potential Regulations and Digital Sovereignty in Europe.

Day two will feature presentations on Fake News: What the Media and Society Can Learn from the Last Year, a How to: Fact Checker, the Ecosystem of Ransomware Industry, Causa Quad9 and there will be news from each of the German, Austrian and Swiss registries.

Domain Pulse is co-hosted by DENIC, nic.at and SWITCH, with the 2022 organiser being DENIC.
