2021’s Domain Pulse is the latest conference to fall victim to the global COVID-19 pandemic. Originally scheduled to be held in Beethoven’s home town, the German city of Bonn, in February and hosted by DENIC, it will now be held in February 2022.
In announcing the postponement, DENIC said the 2022 event will be held on 10 and 11 February in the historical Plenary Chamber of the former German Parliament building when Bonn was the capital.
Rather than hold the event virtually, DENIC noted that due to Domain Pulse being characterised in particular by socialising and networking, the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and unpredictable travel and meeting restrictions, it just wasn’t possible to hold the event. DENIC though is confident Domain Pulse 2022 will happen.
