There were 12 sales charts in a row where 6-figure, and sometimes 7-figure, sales topped the chart. And now the northern summer is warming up, sales have cooled down, for the week ending 2 July at least.
The top reported domain name sale for the week ending 2 July according to Domain Name Journal was jingzhou.com selling for a not-too-shabby $65,000 through NameJet followed by bui.com ($36,800) and imoveis.com ($32,200). Not only did NameJet take the top sale, it took the top 14 sales and 17 of the top 20. Sedo took out 2 sales on the top 20 chart.
On the aftermarket side of things, .com took out 9 of the top 10 and 15 of the top 20, with the remainder being .it with one sale and 2 each for .net and .org.
