Domain Name Game Still Going Strong; Tad Less Secretive

The article looks at how prices for premium names is skyrocketing, using the name business.com that recently sold for US$345million as an example along with the “Seattle-based Marchex MCHX paid $164 million to the holder of some 100,000 domain names.” Investment in Demand Media to the total of $320million, including by Goldman Sachs, and the recent $150million investment in Oversee.net are examples.
