The previously reported sale of cowboys.com was finalised last week and was the top sale in Ron Jackson’s list of domain name sales for the week. For those who don’t recall, Thinking they had bid US$275, the Dallas Cowboys were rather surprised to find they had bid $275,000!Moniker put the domain name back up for sale in a silent auction with the winning bid gaining the name for $370,000 – $95,000 more than the Dallas Cowboys accidentally bid!!Other six figure sales were CrosswordPuzzles.com ($210,000), CriminalLawyers.com ($195,000), CaribbeanVacations.com ($130,000) all sold by Moniker at T.R.A.F.F.I.C. The only Sedo sale in the top 10 is next with Hosting.mobi selling for $101,000.
