Country Code Domain Name Sales Do Well

In the week to 17 January, there were three sales of domain names to top the $100,000 mark in Domain Name Journal’s list of top reported sales – partysupplies.com ($360,000), free-sms.de (€115,000 / $162,150) and homerun.com ($131,299)

In the week to 17 January, there were three sales of domain names to top the $100,000 mark in Domain Name Journal’s list of top reported sales – partysupplies.com ($360,000), free-sms.de (€115,000 / $162,150) and homerun.com ($131,299).

Interestingly, six of the top ten sales were country code domain names from a range of ccTLDs (.RU, .ZA and two each from .CA and .DE). There were another three country code names in the top twenty sales – one from .EU and another two from .DE and nine .COM names.
