.cn passes 10 million registrations

With the recent announcements that the .au ccTLD passing one million registrations, and .es and .ca about to pass the magic number, in January this year .cn passed another milestone. They reached their ten millionth domain name registration and six millionth .cn registration in January 2008. And then in February they passed the three millionth .com.cn registration..cn is the second ccTLD to pass the ten million mark with .de being the only other ccTLD to have passed this mark.And while smaller ccTLDs excitedly reach the magical seven-figure milestone, .cn increases its registrations by one million every two months or around 20,000 every day.The internet is huge in China, dwarfing those of almost every other country.
