Christmas Holidays Came Early For Domain Sales

Domain Name Journal logoIt’s as if the Christmas and new year holidays came early and the domain name aftermarket went on holidays. For the week ending 1 December, the top selling domain name on Domain Name Journal’s chart of top reported sales was, which sold for a seemingly paltry $29,000 compared to the six figure sales topping the chart in recent weeks.

Coming in second and third was and, which sold for $19,100 and €14,000 ($19,040) through NameJet and Sedo respectively.

Sedo took out ten of the top 20 sales for the week, while NameJet and NoktaDomains took out four each.

On the TLD front, there were 12 .com sales, two for .org and one each for .fr,, .nl,, .mx and .me.
