The name on the document used to provide this connection (driver’s licence or utility bill, for example) will have to be an exact match. The move follows consultation with the dot.ie reseller community and business groups, and is said to be the result of the rising popularity of social networking and blogging. For more information on registering .IE domain names, see www.iedr.ie.
